Ride the Wildflower Express!
Remember how Johnny Appleseed travelled the country tossing apple seeds along the way? You and the kids can do something similar on a ride aboard the Wildflower Express, a special excursion on the new New Hope & Ivyland Railroad.
Ride an open-air car through Bucks County’s scenic countryside and woodlands, feel the fresh air and smell the scents of summer as a live narrator points out interesting facts and happenings along the way. As the train slows at certain points, all aboard can toss wildflower seeds onto the ground along the tracks. In August and September, you can return to see the beautiful wildflowers blooming on another fun and relaxing ride along the rails! Wildflower Express trains are running now through August 31. So, grab the kids and hop on board for summer fun that’s exciting for kids, and relaxing for mom and dad.
