The Village That Time Forgot
Love history? Then, you’ll love Bucks County’s village of Fallsington.
Established in 1692, Fallsington grew to become an important social, market and religious center. Today it is a Nationally Registered Historic District where six original buildings still remain, including a hand-hewn log house, Federal-style townhouse, tavern and general store. Time has literally stood still here – making it the perfect place to forget modern-day cares, and imagine life before computers, cell phones, information overload and instant everything. On October 8, journey back in time at Historic Fallsington Day, with the help of colonial and Native American dance performances, crafters and folksingers. Tour the historic buildings, browse an old-fashioned flea market, learn to write with a quill pen or enjoy a puppet show. You could also try your luck at winning the highly coveted Fallsington Quilt, a one-of-a-kind handmade quilt that will be on display throughout the day.
